I have worked at various schools beginning at St. Jerome’s School in Oconomowoc, WI, and then to Asa Clark Middle School in Pewaukee, WI. A new job for my husband brought us to Sparta, WI, where I taught for two years at Sacred Heart in Cashton, WI, and Southside Elementary in Sparta.
I grew up in Waukesha, WI, where I played every sport I could, spent hours reading at the public library (their air conditioned building fortified my love of books during the hot summer days), and joined in the many community festivities. I met and married my husband, Sam, in 2003 and we moved to Watertown, WI. This summer we will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We have two daughters, nine and six, and two yellow labs, Brownie and Cake. My most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I still enjoy athletics, having coached for soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track for several years. I, myself, played competitive soccer until the arrival of our second daughter. Now, it is time to play with our girls instilling our love of books, the outdoors, and activity in them. Our favorite vacation spot is home; we all love to hang out at home gardening, swimming, playing, walking, running, riding our bikes, reading, coloring... doing just about anything you can imagine. We have lived in Sparta for five years.
